Everything in my personal work is designed and made by me, from the clothing on my puppets to the furniture and fittings in my sets.
NB. My stop motion puppet of ‘the little Prince’ I designed and made in 2011, it was publicly exhibited and put on my website in 2013.

Anne-Sofie is a model maker and designer who has worked on some incredible stop-motion animated projects, most notably the next Wes Anderson film ​'Isle of Dogs'.
​

Currently working on Clangers at 'Factory' in Manchester.

Through her professional work, degree course and various other art and design courses Anne-Sofie has gained experience with a wide variety of materials and fabrication methods and developed a strong technical skillset.
​She is passionate about combining her urge to create with her love of visual storytelling.

Originally from Denmark but now based in the UK.

Practical skillset:
  • Props and sets: Making hard models using plastics, palight, balsa, metal etc. Making precise scale sets using wood and MDF. Good knowledge of various materials and glues.
  • Sculpting: Plasteline and wet clay. Chemiwood and poly carving.
  • Moulding: Silicone, plaster and fibreglass.
  • Casting: Silicone, latex, fast cast and polyurethane foam.
  • Metal work: Silversmith skills including silver soldering and good filing, sanding and coping saw technique.
  • Machinery: Experience using machinery such as wood lathe, vac former, band saw, jig saw, chop saw, pillar drill, belt and disk sanders
  • Drawing: Technical drawing and sketching
  • Painting: With brush. good understanding of colour theory.
  • Costume: Historical dress making, Miniature costumes, Corsetry, Pattern cutting.
  • ​Textile crafts: Screen printing, Weaving, Felting, Dyeing, Photo transfers,​ ​Freehand machine embroidery.
  • Viking crafts: Bone, horn and silver jewellery, Glass bead making.
  • ​Miscellaneous: Leather work, Life casting, Basic book binding, Basic upholstering, Chippie work, Life drawing and life sculpting
